Every ingredient is traced back to the farm. We work directly with growers in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh to ensure freshness and fair pricing.

We roast in 5–10 kg batches so nothing sits stale. Your masala is packed within days of roasting, not months.

No artificial colours, no flow agents, no MSG. Only whole spices, slow-roasted and stone-ground the traditional way.

Every pack lists every ingredient by weight percentage. If we are not proud of it, it does not go in.

Grinding for Neighbors in Malleshwaram
Roopa Hegde began roasting and grinding traditional spice blends in her home kitchen in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, crafting small batches for family and neighbors seeking genuine South Indian flavors.
First Darshini Partnership
As word spread across local kitchens, we secured our first supply contract with a prominent neighborhood darshini chain, delivering 50 kg of freshly ground masala every week.
Dedicated Stone-Grinding Unit
Swadhu Foods was formally established and operations moved to a specialized stone-grinding facility, preserving traditional techniques that retain essential aromatic oils.
Millet Products & Traditional Laddoos
Listening to our growing community, we expanded our offerings to include wholesome millet breakfast staples and handcrafted laddoos made with pure ghee and jaggery.

We launched our online store to bring small-batch, preservative-free South Indian pantry craft directly to homes across 500+ pincodes nationwide.
